In June 2002 the library was nominated again for the “Hristo G. Danov” Award, Section “Library Achievement”.
In May 2003 the Sliven Regional Library was awarded with a diploma of the Bulgarian Minister of Culture for organizing the 5th National Children’s Book Festival.
“Sava Dobroplodni“ Regional Library – Sliven has been awarded a medal and a diploma at the 47th International Festival of Children Arts “Zmeieve deche igre” /Novi Sad – Serbia/ in June 2004 for its work with children for creating interest in reading the books for children and for the organization and carrying out the Children’s Book National Festival.
In June 2005 the library was nominated again for the “Hristo G. Danov” Award, Section “Library Achievement”.

2011 In connection with the 55th anniversary of the establishment of "Sava Dobroplodni" Regional Library, the organization and conduct of the National Children's Book Festival the library was awarded the honorary prize of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bulgaria - a diploma and a medal "Silver Rhyton" / Replica of the silver Rhyton, gilded, with a figure of Sphinx of Borovo treasure, Ruse, I half of IV century BC / for its contribution to the development and popularization of Bulgarian culture and librarianship in Bulgaria. |
