In June, 2000, to "Sava Dobroplodni" Regional Library, the organizer of the festival, was awarded a "Hristo G. Danov - 2000" prize, in the "Presenting Bulgarian books" department.



In June 2002 the library was nominated again for the “Hristo G. Danov” Award, Section “Library Achievement”.


In May 2003 the Sliven Regional Library was awarded with a diploma of the Bulgarian Minister of Culture for organizing the 5th National Children’s Book Festival.


“Sava Dobroplodni“ Regional Library – Sliven has been awarded a medal and a diploma at the 47th International Festival of Children Arts “Zmeieve deche igre” /Novi Sad – Serbia/  in June 2004 for its work with children for creating interest in reading the books for children and for the organization and carrying out the Children’s Book National Festival.


In June 2005 the library was nominated again for the “Hristo G. Danov” Award, Section “Library Achievement”.




In connection with the 55th anniversary of the establishment of "Sava Dobroplodni" Regional Library, the organization and conduct of the National Children's Book Festival the library was awarded the honorary prize of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Bulgaria - a diploma and a medal "Silver Rhyton" / Replica of the silver Rhyton, gilded, with a figure of Sphinx of Borovo treasure, Ruse, I half of IV century BC / for its contribution to the development and popularization of Bulgarian culture and librarianship in Bulgaria.



The Award - "The Little Prince" of the Association Friends of the book "The Little Prince" - Tuzla / Bosnia and Herzegovina /. The prize is awarded to Mrs. Rositsa Petrova - Director of "Sava Dobroplodni" Regional library for the contribution to the development of children's literature and intercultural cooperation in the Balkans and was handed in by the writer Shimo Ešić.



In 2014 the director of the "Sava Dobroplodni" Regional Library - Sliven Rositsa Petrova-Vasileva received the "Hristo G. Danov" for 2014. in the category "Libraries and library work" as a creator, inspirer and the main organizer of the unique National Children's Book Festival and her efforts to turn it into a prestigious cultural event that long ago involved talents beyond our national borders.
